My favorite animal to trap would have to be marten or pine marten, as some of you know it by. In the near future I'll be hitting these a little less and concentrating on the k-9s more often. I feel a 100+ season on yotes is alot but I would like to try to double it. John

Good to hear from you on here. We don't have a lot of action here and appreciate all the input we can get esp from someone with your experience.
If any of you folks new to trapping have any questions please make a post. John will give some darn good advice on it.
John as you well know that 200 yotes a year is a heck of a lot of work. I don't think most folks realize what all is involved.
And from what I can tell you are one heck of a marten trapper. Sure would like to learn about that 'cause I never had the chance.
Start a post and tell us more about it if you feel like.

i dont think i can get a 1000 coon season here in missouri i use a set like doud plugger does and it worked great try the statch and go this year to but it didnt work all that good lost about 10 trap doing it that way so i will go back to the old way the creek and river was up over the banks most of the season this year so i didnt get that many coons about 35 is all (a long way from 1000)lol
