Beav-thanks for the 'heads up'...I have considered selling furs 'unfleshed'-as I am green to all this stuff also, I wouldn't want to be downgraded either-seems safer to do as you said. Jen

Paul-Yeah, back to the post at hand-I never mentioned it, I do like to hunt deer, however, I like to 'stalk'-it's more exciting to me to see how close you can get to whatever you may be hunting- everyone I know likes to set up their stand and sit there forever just waiting for something to happen by...eating gummi bears(dad)...I never go out opening day-too many Elmer Fudds out there!!! When you're stalking you can rest whenever or wherever you want...I just like sneakin' around the woods just like everything else that lives there!!! Jen

It's funny-over there we are nothing more than 'tenderfoots' or 'feet'...-oh darn, that's a little off the topic too isn't it??? Sorry guys-this is what makes it so much fun!!! Jen

Has anyone noticed we don't even talk about hunting on a subject entitled-"who hunts what?" LOL Jen

Paul, my guess on the thingy thing is probably you can't say 'thingy'- woodthingy-what's wrong w/ that??? We'll see how this comes out... Anyway-sorry your hunting's not like it used to be-dad doesn't hunt too much anymore either-emphysema,etc...but I take him w/ me on ADC calls and he loves trappin' w/ me...it's fun for him-me too sometimes, depends on the customer!!! I used to make squirrel stew all the time...I just wish I'd have hunted mid-June, then you could bag those tender young 'uns...and yes, I can make a mean crust...also, great homemade chicken and dumplin's!!! Jen Paul-I guess you can't say 'thingy'!!!

I just found out I missed about ten days worth of squirrel hunting here in KY-they added it in between spring and fall litters-to fill a gap I guess...it seems no one squirrel hunts like they used to, and it is a shame-I see big fox squirrels dead on the road because of cars, but, what a waste...'course they come in handy when my foxes and coyotes are hungry!!! Cool post Az! When I worked at the vet's office we did, on occasion, see hermaphroditic dogs-so I suppose it does happen in the wild-we just don't see it as often as it DOES occur...interesting to say the least. Jen
