Yea Jen, you may be a "feet" but I am a "SKINNER". It's all in who you know. To get back to the post I also enjoy pa'tridge hunting with my Fox 20 ga side by side. Like to walk them up and don't use a dog. Nothing like the explosion when they take off!!!!!!!!!!

Paul-Yeah, back to the post at hand-I never mentioned it, I do like to hunt deer, however, I like to 'stalk'-it's more exciting to me to see how close you can get to whatever you may be hunting- everyone I know likes to set up their stand and sit there forever just waiting for something to happen by...eating gummi bears(dad)...I never go out opening day-too many Elmer Fudds out there!!! When you're stalking you can rest whenever or wherever you want...I just like sneakin' around the woods just like everything else that lives there!!! Jen

Beav,
That's a bit out of my league as I am just a little ol' country boy and doubt I will ever be able to afford Alaska although it is a dream.
Have you hunted there before.
Be sure an tell us all about it when you return and don't forget the pictures.

Lucky !!! By the looks of your site you get around a bit. Fish also said about the BIG beaver you caught. Sounds like you have it made, Beav.

hey i drew up a neat like plan for a portable deer shooting blind or house call by some, sorry i like to be comfortable. the plans aren't much realy but it will get you building in right dircetion. my 6x6 pulls it w/ no problems. i tried to keep it light and small for better manoverablity. i even cut the 4x4 posts to 3x3's. it totals 4'w by 4'w by 5' tall or so well i can't figure out how to attach a .pdf file to this so let me know if you want to see it and i will try to get it to you Birddog

My friend, his wife, two teenage children, my son and I, are planning a bear hunting trip near Old Town , Me. and need to find lodging. Does anyone have any suggestions. We would like a cabin or something we can all stay in.
