Does anybody have experience and sucess using white square buckets baited with fish such as white perch and using 220's to trap otter?? How deep should these buckets be sunk,I am thinking of trying these near large culverts along creeks and streams where water is fairly deep and otters are occasionally seen swimming through these areas. Do you think these would be good sets or what else could I try here??

The system works real well if you are in a area where the water has very little current You want to keep the pail down from the freezing ice One thing with white buckets they will collect the light from above and show up very well in dark water. Otter will see this bucket from a distance and investigate. Good luck you will get a non target catch as well mink rats and even a beaver.
